The hotel has 54 modern, spacious, air-conditioned rooms with shower and full bath. You can enjoy a view of the lagoon from the private balcony of all rooms.
The grounds are palm shaded gardens to the white sand beach for a refreshing swim in the clear lagoon.
In the island style restaurant there is an excellent choice of local seafood and Pacific and Asian cuisine. Enjoy the tropical sunset while you dine in a romantic setting only found in the islands.
When not diving, Truk offers a wealth of WWII history & artifacts on land as well as under the sea. A series of Japanese installations including a network of excavated tunnels, forts, armaments bases, communications and administration centers can easily be visited.
Car rentals, local land & island tours as well as picnics can be arranged through reception.
The Truk Stop Hotel was designed and built with both the scuba diver and business traveler in mind. Both types of travelers will appreciate the bright, comfortable rooms and great views over the Lagoon.
The hotel is only a short walk from town and less than one mile from the International airport. With only a five minute walk you can be in town at the market, stores or dive shops.
The 23 rooms include 13 standard rooms, 6 oceanview rooms, 2 executive suites and 2 presidential suites. Each room has a private balcony overlooking the Lagoon where tired divers or tired business people can relax and enjoy the view. All rooms have air-conditioning, private bath, full color cable TV (with live CNN and ESPN International), telephone, ceiling fan, and a refrigerator. Spacious closets make unpacking a breeze.
