From the moment you step off the plane you will experience the warmth and friendliness of the Fijian people. Greeted with a smile and “Bula”, meaning  Hello.  The international airport is in the city of Nadi on the main island Viti Levu.

Fiji has more dive sites than it does islands and there are more than 333 islands. There are many exciting activities to do there such as hiking, rafting, zip lining, snorkeling and of course World Class Diving.  Fiji is also known as the soft coral capital of the world because of the vibrant colors and giant size of the hard and soft corals. With over 1000 species of fish, sea stars, myriad shrimp, sharks and rays.

In the southern islands is Beqa Lagoon, you will take a ride about  2 hours to Pacific Harbor from Nadi and then you’ll be whisked off in a boat to the island. There you will experience the Fijian style bures and the authentic World Famous Fire Walkers. Also don’t forget to dive the famous Beqa shark dive. What a thrilling experience, diving with bull and tiger sharks!!

Another island is Kadavu, a 45 minute flight from Nadi. This very peaceful and quiet island with no roads will give you a true Fijian experience. There you can dive with the giant mantas. One of the hot spots is the Great Astrolabe Reef with pristine hard and soft corals, amazing fish diversity and being on the edge of the continental shelf.

The Mamanuca Islands are on the northwest side of Viti Levu. Most resorts sit on their own private island with brilliant white sandy beaches. Great diving with pinnacles, walls and plenty of fish life because the currents feed the Malolo Barrier Reef which extends to the Castaway Passage.

The waters between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu lies the Bligh Waters voted the best dive spot in the world.  With it’s rich channel home to thousands of fish, dolphins, sharks and invertebrates. Board one of the liveaboards for the ultimate diving experience.

Then to the southeast there is an island named Taveuni. It holds the World Famous Rainbow Reef and has some spectacular diving including the Great White Wall and also advanced drift diving through channels. Being humid and wet most of the time brings beautiful rainforests and waterfalls that you’ll want to experience along with the breath taking Fiji sunset.
